If I could pull it off

I’d get the Georg certainly. I have the Friedrich III in rose gold with cathedral hands and it is beautiful there is no denying that but Georg, its sculpted and shaped case, the unbelievable caliber, it is just something else. Heck I’m thinking of buying

A hard choice since all of them are so beautiful. But,

the Goerg??? Especially if a rectangle would be new to you. And it is so nice to look at. I like it slightly over the Friedrich III. But that dial on the Friedrich III (It looks like sillver friction?? ) and cathedral hands are so tempting. Maybe get both

I don't have...

experience with the Georg but it is so beautiful, especially from the back. I did customize a Friedrich III and IIRC there was a little delay in the delivery time (Indicated=10 months, Actual=13 months). The overall experience was very positive - from the

The Georg was my first L&H....

Mine was made to order in standard spec as I wanted it in RG with matching gold lancet hands. The one I saw at the AD was a WG with blue hands. I was only considering to add a cabochon to the crown which did not happen in the end due to the cost. I could

Well you know my penchant for enamel dials…

Also, look at the Friedrich III, as perhaps a better size. It’s just under 40mm, which for my wrist is a better proportion, and with special Order enamel dial, possibly the perfect dress watch😉 The Johann at 43mm is marginally too big for me. Cheers!

L&H informed me that this isn't possible anymore...

when I ordered a Friedrich III back in 2022.

While under the radar...

Production is in the low hundreds (200/300) per year, there will be a piece or 2 with the AD once in a while. If you would like order one, delivery could take 1.5 to 2 years. They are a nice bunch to deal with and client service is top notch. I got more h
